In the spirit of fun (and just messing with all the people that keep asking us) we figured we'd start to toss out some hints for our forthcoming daughter's first name. We'll see how this goes, but let's start simple for now.
Our four criteria before we chose a name:
1. It can't be a top 50 most popular name
2. Easy to pronounce when read
3. Can be spelled easily when heard
4. No stripper names

I don't have a guess...but I just wanted to say I like your criteria. I'm sure that "Lauren" is somewhere in the top 50 so we failed that part, but accomplished the rest. Its a personal pet peeve of mine when people take a simple name and try to spell it in a crazy way.
I can't wait to find out what you've chosen!
Our criteria was created more by the common nature of the last name "Smith"...
Is this a standard criteria list that my parents just didn't see??? So excited for you guys!
