Yes, we will skip the pretense that you all actually want to see pictures of Allison and Jeff and hear how we are doing. Then again, with a cute little thing like Emerson, we understand.It turns out Florida has been a perfect first vacation for ever
yone: quiet, relaxing, and not much to do but sit around and enjoy each others' company, a good book, or blogging (hypothetically). Emerson was a fantastic traveler on Saturday, taking to the air with ease, sleeping most of the trip in our arms.Jeff's Four Part Guide To Answering Everyone Who Stops To Ask About Emerson:
1. "She's seven weeks old."
2. "She's a girl." (note: pink clothing wasn't a tip off to some folks)
3. "Her name is Emerson"
4. "Yes, we agree, she's cute."

Emerson has achieved all of the following on this trip:
1. Meeting her great Aunt Marcia and Uncle Mike
2. Impersonating a buoy in the pool
3. Chilling in her new pink Bumbo seat
4. Eat, sleep, poop, repeat
It's a rough life, but someone's gotta do it.

Wow! Emerson's extra advanced to be chilling in her Bumbo so early. Way to go girl!
PS - Noah got a kids flier from the grocery store today. He was looking at it while I was loading the groceries into the truck and told me that the flier was for baby Emerson. We do have a doll named Emerson, so I don't know who he meant, but either way this grocery store flier makes him think of Emerson.
Can't wait until you fly to Denver so I can coo over Emerson live and in person!
