Allison has hired a ghost writer for this posting (who shall remain nameless) helping fill you all in on the exciting world of synchronized skating that the writer hasn't been a part of. However, Allison was fortunate enough to spend the weekend watching everyone's favorite synchronized ice skater, Kelly, strut her stuff with the Miami team up in the scenic town of Frasier, Michigan. For those who don't know where Frasier is, hold up your hand like a mitten. And now slap yourself in the face for doing the silly Michigan-is-a-mitten geography routine.
While apparently just a test run for some events later this year, the skating went splendidly, and there was a Grandma Smith sighting as well (hi Grandma!) along with the usual David and Kathy team groupies. While the ghostwriter is sad he missed it, he, and now you, can enjoy one of their routines courtesy of youtube:
