It had been a whole week since our last out of town trip, so we decided it was time to get out on the road again. This time, to Minneapolis, MN. Instead of flying this time we wanted to see how a road trip might work. So we packed up the car, and bravely ventured onward through the land of cheese and badgers towards the Twin Cities. Surprisingly, we did not make as good of time as we used to on road trips. Odd.
Our main objective was seeing our sister Kelly strap on her skates for her last skating event of the year. And while her team did win the national title, there was a little fan in the stands that stole a lot of the attention away from the ice.

could we make our road system more confusing? Is the whole city under construction? What's up with commuter on-ramps? And where are all the moose?[End Minneapolis Rant]
It was a wonderful time, and Emerson scored very highly on her ability to adapt to a crazy schedule and living in her car seat. Next stop? Colorado next month*!
*assuming no crazy deals come up that we can't resist.
