Nesting: It Begins!

In the last six weeks, I have traveled to the following places: Montana, St. Louis, Madison, Buenos Aires, Philly and Madison again. As I result, I have earned myself a healthy cold (not any type of flu, I promise. I have been nagged, checked out, and cleared! w00p!) But, I have also had a strong unbalance between my need to make lists of things to do, and my ability to accomplish said things on my lists… I have handled it well, but I will admit, I have a bee in my bonnet now that I am scheduled to be home for a few weeks straight.

Bring on the Nesting!

And to add to my sense of accomplishment, I am sharing photos of my completed tasks, and the next ones on the docket. I am sure you will all be enthralled by the progress…

Last night, I was blessed because my parents came over and helped me out while Jeff was in class. Despite my cold, we were able to get a few of the thorny tasks done that had been bugging me for a while.

We removed the ugly, broken old window blinds and put up the new, white window blinds.
We assembled the Glider.

And… we put together a lamp (hey! That is a step!)
Next on the docket:
Making my white puff balls, and hanging them… this is a project meant to look like clouds hanging above little Sprouts crib.
Getting the curtain rod, and curtains installed and hung. (see previous, naked white blinds)

And my dreaded task… going through these last few boxes of evicted and now, homeless items from the days when this room was an office. (my other dreaded task is lurking in this photo too... ooh, those bookshelves need some TLC)
